Beautiful woodlands with water and outhouse facilities. fishing ponds and trails . permit required but ,free at local bait stores. Just north of McConnellsville ,Ohio

AEP ia a wonderful area,very peaceful.I go every year and there are many camping areas,few for tents only,one area dedicated to children only fishing,great for group functions as well.Easily accessible gravel roads,hand pump water,clean outhouses ,regular trash pickup.
small boats only,no boat launches.**Hunters do gather during season.**
AEP reclaimation of old Mining land ,web sight offers maps and printable permit. Enjoy !!!!
AEP campgrounds near McConnelsville are great. Lots of fishing locations. Generally they are cleaner than most other campgrounds.They even provide free firewood in the summer months. Lots of fishing Just 1 drawback is that there are very few places to get water in some of the larger sites.
