East 5th Street at Duff Ave is a nicely wooded park. Overnight parallel parking is allowed adjacent to the park. No facilities. Children’s playground, band shell, picnic areas, occasional concerts; walk to downtown shopping.

Overnight parking is NOT allowed here for vehicles more than 20 feet in length.
(1) There is no parking on either the east or west side of this one-square-block park.
(2) The parking spaces on the south side of the block are marked diagonal parking spaces. The Ames, IA city code makes it illegal to park so as to occupy more than one space, or for a vehicle longer than 20 feet to park in a space.
(3) The parking spaces on the north side of the block are marked paralle parking spaces. The Ames, IA city code makes it illegal to park so as to occupy more than one space, or for a vehicle longer than 20 feet to park in a space.
And in addition, the GPS coordinates given by the original poster are incorrect, and are several miles from this park.
