This is the location 34.237125,-112.110868 just off Exit 256
This is a nice place, with petroglyphs, and old pueblos, there is a nice trail that leads down to the river where you can sit and relax or climb some of the tall canyon walls, very quiet, bathrooms are well maintained.
Exit 259, Bloody Basin Rd; I’m in a 28′ RV towing a small suv. Camped at mile 6 in a big site at the cattle guard. Top of the hill, beautiful views, good cell reception on Verizon Wireless. If you’re in an RV go very slow in a couple of spots that are rocky, and I wouldn’t go any farther up the road than this with my RV. Far enough away from I-17 to be quiet but a lot of traffic on the road on the weekend, as it’s a popular ATV rd.
