Nice alternative to Walmart in this area. Even though next to interstate, we parked towards the back and it was significantly quieter than most Walmarts we have overnighted at. Lot is gated, well lit and there is security patrol. No services. Requested permission and was granted. Excellent overnight stop.

There are seven single sites and one group site. Sites can accommodate RV’s up to 30 feet, but there are no electric hookups. Hitching posts are at each site for equestrian use. The campground has drinking water and vault toilet.

Fiery Fork Conservation Area is in Camden County, 15 miles northwest of Camdenton and 7 miles east of Climax Springs, off Highway 7.
The area includes 1,606 acres of oak and hickory forest and was named after Fiery Fork Creek, which flows into the Niangau River.

A nice state park campground just west of New Florence right off of I-70. Sites cost from $10 off season to $24 on season, depending on hookups. On season is April 1-Oct. 31.
River access with a primitive campsite. It is actually right next to I-70 but must be accessed by a 3 mile drive on Route M (paved) to the access. Location is a few miles west of Booneville, Missouri.
A small, delightful little community park set up specifically to accommodate RVs. Grassy sites on a gentle slope, free electric on site (!), barbecue grills; picnic tables. Set in a residential section 1/4 mile from center of the village. Just a great little place to spend a night on your way to somewhere else.
Driving Directions
North entrance: South on Route K (off Highway 30), across the Meramec River, and 1/2-mile to the left on Old Route K to Little Indian Creek Road. Follow this road 3 miles and watch for the area sign.

Primitive camping allowed. This is south of I-70 between Warrenton and Jonesburg. Smaller RVs under 26′ would be most suitable.
In north side of town behind the historic Redding Hill Home. Well maintained City Park with picnic shelter/tables, tennis court, electricity, water hydrant nearby, dump station available. No charge but a donation left with City or Teresa appreciated.
It has about 6 pull-off areas for picnic. Local law OKed staying there. Real quiet: only saw 4 vehicles come through from 4 pm til 7 am. No hookups or amenities.
Painted Rock Conservation Area is located on Highway 133, seven miles west of Westphalia in Osage County. The lands of Painted Rock Conservation Area show evidence of occupation by Native Americans as early as 9,000 years ago. This is a small free primitive NF service campground on Route Y a few miles east of Ashland, Missouri. It usually fills up on weekends. It is in the Mark Twain NF. Very scenic with huge pine trees. Nice hiking trail. Sites are small and suited only for small RVs.
The Salisbury City Park has limited campsites available for one night. Electricity, nearby water hydrants, primitive rest room. Make arrangement through the Salisbury Police Station – Telephone 660 388 5114.
This is a Missouri Department of Conservation Area just off of I-70 at Williamsburg, Missouri. It is an easy access but is suited only for smaller RVs. Numerous fishing lakes on the conservation area. Campsites are primitive with no services.
