The directions from the first guy are very accurate, and good. I enjoyed this place, but, there is a 3 day limit. There are picnic tables, fire pit, and lots of wildlife. Rabbits are all over the place, and lots of birds. There is electric in the park area, but not in camping area. Running water is under repair.
I dont like your “no pet” policy. I understand there are always those pet owners that break the rules(don’t pick up waste, chase wildlife, hurt other pets)but there are equally responsible owners that care+follow rules. The majority of families have pets they find difficulty in leaving behind and therefore choose to skip a visit to your park based on the policy you have. thus restricting revue. In the long run will be devastating to the douglas community. Pls rethink this issue.
