From Tygh Valley, go about 25 miles west on Forest Road 48, then 0.5 mile west on Forest Road 43.

Note that if you don’t want to pay the $10 to camp at Barlow Crossing then you can just camp right next to it and actually just walk to the river or to the toilets in the campground. There is no host and the area is rarely patrolled. You can find plenty of campsites right next to the campground where people have done this in the past. Just need to bring your own table and you are set.
