Editors note: I spoke with Ms. Starr and she states that there is a ‘suggested donation’ of $10/night. I have no idea where the original poster got 14 days free. Ms. Starr states that this is incorrect. She also asked that you tip the guides, but stated there was no official charge for the activities offered. If you have stayed here or have more information on this campground, further details are needed.
Belle Starr’s Silverado Ranch allows up to 14 days free camping (After that they have a very small suggested donation based on length of stay). The ranch features several full RV hookups, numerous marked campsites and hundreds of acres of land to camp wherever you like. They have WiFi, shower, electricity, water, laundry facilities and more for your use while there.
Additionally they offer horse back riding, guided trail rides, guided hikes into the Mule Mountains, guided rock climbing at the nearby Twin Buttes, an on-site saloon/social hall and much more. The weather is never too hot and never too cold (4500ft) and Belle Starr is an amazing lady! Check it out, highly recommended.

Hi all,
Belle has fallen ill and is unlikely to be able to accommodate guests for the foreseeable future. It is a great shame that such a lovely lady has ended up in a wheel chair and sometimes living in the past.
I just found this listing after seeing this site address on a flyer at The Slab City. I got excited about finding Belle Star’s Silverado Ranch because I wanted to visit Bisbee but the hotels are too expensive there. I was very diappointed to read the above post about Ms. Belle but I did a search and found her ranch blog bellestarraz.blogspot.com
Her number and email is listed so I called her. She was surprised that someone would write such a thing and said that she’s open & accepting guests. She said she broke her hip & has to use a wheelchair but she gets around & still rides around on her tractor.
So, I’m going there tomorrow to stay and wanted to correct the mis here for her. If you want confirmation go and see for your self on her blog!
Well Skip Ima thinking Pianotuna information is correct from what i have seen.
we stayed with Belle three nights. She is delightful. I would hesitate to say all the above are quite as described. We enjoyed ourselves and the area. Just don’t expect a plush place.
Olivia is being kind.
The corrrect GPS should be listed at 31.392899° -109.767148°, this is about mid-way between Bisbee and Douglas

When my best freind and I graduated from college a few years back we took a road trip across the country and ended up staying at Belle’s place for about a week. I am sad to hear she has fallen ill. She was very kind to us and we had a great time. We built some fire pits for her in return for letting us stay. There were about 7 people staying there at the time and Belle had a big cook out for all of us. I wish her the best and hope the ranch is doing well. It is something I will never forget.
We stayed there on 15th Jan. She was very welcoming and is obviously struggling. The sign say 7 days free with a suggested donation of $10 or work your passage. I helped fix her computer. She has many problems and needs many visitors. Go and enjoy and very unusual experience. The miniature donkeys are enchanting
