From the boondockinglocations group:

On the Edisto River, a big, level blacktop site with boat access to river. Right on Main Hwy 301, three miles north of Bamberg SC in Bamberg County.

No facilities elect or water, boondocking only. There are no restrictions that I know of for use of this area, it is State owned no signs, no patrol, or anyone to bother boondockers.

A good spot for I-95 travel not to far off route and good road

    Stayed there in March 2012, nice spot by the river and just beside the road. This part of Georgia is very quiet, no traffic, quiet night. A few people came in to fish or just relax during the day. Nobody during the night. Asphalt parking ground.
