Boundary Dam is located 107 miles north of Spokane in Pend Oreille County in the far northeast corner of Washington state.

To reach the dam, boat ramp and picnic areas:
go north from Metaline on State Highway 31, turn on County Road 62, Boundary Dam Road. Drive for 11.5 miles and turn right on to the Boundary Hydroelectric Project access road.

Enjoy the splendor of Pend Oreille County. The area has an array of sights and activities including fishing, camping, backpacking and horseback riding for year-round recreational fun. A picnic area, campsites and a boat launch provide access to the clear, sparkling water of the reservoir. See local sights.

If you’re a camper, Boundary is a great site to enjoy the water and mountains. The recreational campground is just upstream of the dam and has eight RV sites and an area for tents. Services include restrooms with running water (no showers) and a boat ramp providing access to Boundary reservoir. There also primitive camp sites located near Z Canyon which are only accessible by water.

There is no charge for the facilities but availability is on a first come basis and reservations are not taken. No rv sanitation dump facilities or boat moorage.
