Listed in COE book as a free camping area. While I cannot find any mention of camping here online, I have stayed overnight in many COE areas that are described like this one. As with all locations on this website, you might want to do additional research if this is out of the way.

It has one boat ramp with two lanes of concrete construction, a courtesy dock for loading and unloading boats, and an adjacent asphalt parking area. Swimming is not permitted in the vicinity of the boat ramp. The boat ramp is open 24 hours a day all year. There is no fee to launch a boat.

Directions:
From I-35 South take exit 368b to HWY 22E/171S and turn left. In about a mile, when 22E and 171S split, stay on 171S and travel 13 miles. Turn left on FM744/Cedar St. After 11.3 miles, turn right onto FM1578 and travel2 miles. Make slight left at NW 3360 Rd and then a slight right into the park.
