This very nice, but small campground is right on Burns Lake. If you are heading W. to Prince Rupert to the ferry or to the Stewart Cassiar Hwy N. to Alaska this is a nice stop coming or going. At the Overwaitea store, the jnct of Hwy 35, south towards Francois Lake, about a block down, just past the ice arena, is the lake and the campground. Turn L. by the skate board park. There is also an outside gym equip. area. Well patrolled by the RCMP, nice and quiet at night and the lake in summer actually gets warm enough to swim in. Will take medium size rigs, probably up to 35′, I am 25 and no problem. There is a 3 day free stay. There is also a free dump station near by with good drinking water and garbage. This operated by the Rotary. Just W. of town there is a RV wash.

Accurate description and directions. The campground may fill up in the summer but you can along the edges if it is full.
