I have conflicting information. The lady on the phone said that I could stay free for 2-3 days but that I needed a permit from the commissioner’s office in the court house. The website states that it is $5 for dry and $10 for water/elect.
On Lake Charlotte. 15 Camping sites on approx 100 acres. No drinking water. Composting aerobic toilets, shelters, tables, fishing, boat ramp, scenic views, nature trails, park naturalist.
Must arrive early. Gate locked at night.
Take I-10: Exit 810, N on FM 563 5 mi to Lake Charollette RD, to entrance.
