Chanute is home to one of the country’s largest and most prestigious 5th-wheel manufacturers, NuWa Industries. Travelers to Southeast Kansas can enjoy a campground located near Santa Fe park. The campground, including water and electricity, is available for two nights free and is only $10 per night after that. The campground offers several pull-through sites with a total of 40 padded camping sites. Santa Fe Park has a 40-acre lake with boating and fishing available. The campground is also located next to the nine-hole Safari Golf Course and city softball and baseball fields. NuWa offers free tours of its facility Monday-Friday.
