Directions: From Columbia AL, take AL Hwy 52 East cross river into Georgia, and follow signs into Coheelee Park.

    my wife and i have “pitched tents” in every state from georgia to texas, but coheelee creek park is one of our favorite places to camp, you only a few miles from grocery stores and convenience stores, this place is not very crowded, with plenty of room to explore, and let the puppies run free, we haven’t had any problem finding fire wood, or shaded places to make camp, on the down side there are no indoor restrooms for her, and the security is NONE, it is usually quiet and secluded, we recommend this place for someone who would like to get away and “find themselves for a few days, for the cost it can’t be beat.
