Park has about 8-10 tent sites, but the parking area near the tent sites can also be used for RVs. Free, but checkin is required. Getting water for RV not possible; fill up before you arrive. Very nice little canoe/kayak float is possible.

I have walked these trails and fished these waters for about thirty years. Me and my two children (12 and 16) hike, camp and fish here frequently, and have for years. We always hike the Backwoods (River Trail) and stay down by the river. It is about a fourteen mile (round trip)hike, but is well worth it. We have camped here when it was 17 degrees and we have camped here when it was 100 degrees and everything in between and we have enjoyed them all (well, except the mosquitos). There is no toilets or showers on the trails but, hey, it’s free and you meet worlds of friendly folks.

We arrived after hours, it was a federal holiday (so no rangers around) and it was not clear where RVs should park so we overnighted in the ‘over-sized parking’ next to the visitors’ center. There is no way our RV would have fit into the tiny parking lot down by the tent campers. I would recommend calling the park before arriving and confirm that overnighting in the visitor parking is okay. Park was beautiful and we took an early morning hike through the swamp land – really lovely.
