Requests: Please try to give as much information as you can. You are more likely to get a useful site if you are able to specify what area you will be in, the size of your rig and possibly the routes you are considering.

For example, if you state "I am taking I-20 through Texas in a 30' rig", you are more likely to get useful information than just stating "I'm going to New Mexico through Texas".

If you are looking for a site in a specific area, please be aware that a) there just might not be anything and b) the closer you want to be to an area, the more likely you are to get stuck with parking lots etc. We tend to focus on true camping and boondocking here, so if you want to be close to an area even if it requires 'blacktop boondocking' or 'urban overnighting', please state that in your post.

Responses: Please submit the site via the submit a site link at the top of the page. If you do not have enough information to submit a site, then post what you have to the forums and request a clarification. Due to moderation times, it may take a day or two to appear. If you want to provide some general information in the forum post, the requestor will probably thank you for a speedier answer.

Please do not submit retail parking lots and so forth unless the requestor has specified that they are acceptable in the original request. There are lots of Wal Mart lists out there and the community here seems to prefer actual campsites from the response we've seen so far.

Clarifications: If you are researching a site and need some help, this is the place to ask. With any luck, another forum user can round out the information you have and we'll be able to publish one more site to the list.
