Just found you today. Really like it. Trying to learn how to search etc. willl try to participate as we go along. Fulltimer 8 yrs but only retired from full time job, although we travelled with it. Travel in a 39' 5er with GMC dually. Not always easy in the east to find a free site.

Hi Little Toot,
We are glad that you like the website. We have tried to make it easy to use and full of information. If you run across any campsites that you have visited, please feel free to rate them and leave a comment on their page.
Wow eight years, I bet you have a wealth of knowledge. Come November, we will celebrate four years of full time RV traveling.
While there is a ton of free camping on the east coast, you are right, it can be tough for larger rigs. Heck we had trouble driving to campsites due to old bridges that cannot support our weight. An untapped resource in the east is land owned by utility companies and Fish and Wildlife run Wildlife Management areas. Unfortunately, we left the east coast right after we started the website and haven't been able to document as many there as we would like to.
Thanks so much for visiting our website. I hope it comes in handy down the road. Please remember that we cannot check every campsite every day so there may be out dated info. It is in your best interest to contact the managing body for each location or to at least scout ahead.
