Hi there,


I guess its a bit off topic, but I was wondering if you could give me some advice on Geomashup and TDO miniforms. WordPress sent me to your site as an example of what can be done using the Geomashup plugin. I really like what I see, so wonder if you can help me?


I'm trying to develop a website that has almost identical functionality as yours, except my site is about Canyoneering in New Zealand.  http://www.kiwicanyons.info


I want users to be able to submit a canyon, and have it show up on the Global map.


However, using Geomashup 1.3.10 and the latest TDO Miniforms 0.13.9 the google map will just not appear on the 'submit a canyon' page. I've trolled the forums, who have suggested reverting to 1.2.10 or earlier, but it doesn't seem to help me…


Can you tell me the versions you are using? Or let me in on the trick to make it work??

Hi Dan,

You are not going to get it to work together without some hacking unless you use GeoMashup 1.2.10 and TDOMF  v0.12.6. The problem is that the code was drastically changed between GM 1.2.* and 1.3. TDOMF was never updated to handle it.

Dylan (cyberhobo) has been working hard on geomashup and with his new 1.4beta, he has created a class that should allow you to create a geomashup instance in tdomf. I haven't spent too much time looking at it, yet. Alternatively, Dylan is a freelancer. You might consider hiring him.
