Hi Jenn,

What about campgrounds that have dual prices–i.e. a campground that allows boondock for $10.00 and electric for $15.00? Will you want them listed or not?

I have been listing them. But, I do not put amenities that the "correctly" priced one doesn't have. I treat it like I am only listing the $10 and less site. I have been specifying both prices in the description, though.

Jenn – Around NW Wyoming most Forest Svc campground are $12 to $15 per night. Some are "hosted", many are  not. None have hookups or aminities other than picnic tables and pit toilets. On the other hand some are terrific little gems!

Boonbdocking ? – maybe not in the purest sense, but the next best thing. On the other hand they are much more "boondocking" than are National Park Campgrounds and much less inhabityated. We've stayed in some where we were the only campers for days on end.

The question is – do you want any places above the $10 daily limit? I know you have to draw a line some place, but maybe $15 would fit better???Wink

To be honest, I picked that price, because that's the mostl I want to pay. I will add a poll and see what the community wants.

Heck, I am cheap and get up in arms about paying $5/night. ;)

If I do raise it, once I enable the toggling on the maps, I will have 3 categories, free, $1-$10, and then the higher price.

Thanks for bringing it up.

We have a lot of city campgrounds here in Arkansas that are over $10. Most have full hookups but are in the $15 to $17 range. Would you like to have them sumitted?

I really do appreciate the enthusiasm, but I think that we are going to keep it under $11 for now. Thanks though.
