This week's weather forecast for this location.
East of Orofino, Idaho, to headquarters, then 28 miles north on Silver Creek Road, or continue north on Beaver Creek Road and take Grandad turnoff in 17 miles. There are many miles of gravel road and no signs. Located on beautiful Dworshak Reservoir. Pets must be kept on a leash. There is no phone in the vicinity. CB channels 9 and 14 may be monitored for emergencies. Single lane boat launch ramp is usable at reservoir levels down to 1575 MSL. The Dworshak Dam control room operator can be reached at 208-476-1231. Recorded reservoir information can be obtained by calling 1-800-321-3198. Would recommend only 20-foot rigs. Has dirt logging roads with heavy log truck
traffic. It’s easy to get lost on unmarked roads. Boat ramp was 10 feet off water. Very quiet though.

More free camping in Idaho.
We recommend that once you locate a suitable camping location on our website, you do additional research to confirm that it is still open, the correct location, and free or less than $11 prior to driving there. In most cases, we provide the current contact information in the entry for each campsite. We make every effort to be up to date and accurate, but with number of campsites we have to keep up with, there may be some discrepancies. Thank you again for your contributions. Please let us know if you encounter any items that need to updated.
