Wife and I camped there in October last year, great site, close to town and very private. Nice amenities and nice place to visit. We camped on the creek and just wish there was water to hear!
Do not camp here.. If you camp here you will be harrased by state police, and forest officials for there ineptness. We setup camp and stayed the first night with no issues. The second night was a Friday night and around 11pm 1 state trooper and Forest officials showed up to our camp walked in and the first thing they said was “who here is going to jail” and the second thing was why are you burning a fire there is a fire ban. And the last thing we were told your making to much noise , by noise and I mean 20 people talking around a campfire.I have never been harrased more than this night. all I can say is very disturbing.
