Very nice quiet park.Located in the countryside, less than ten miles from St. Louis-you can see the arch from the park.
The campground is a big loop , half near a meadow and sunny , the other half under large trees and shady. The toilets are pit type and there are no electrical hookups.
A park ranger collects the fee – $8.00 for two people.

Just an edit – we didn’t notice during the day but there’s some traffic noise from the freeway and on Sunday morning a far away whine from a race track so I should have set the noise level at 4.
