City park next to the River. Two sections about 1/2 mile apart contain about 48 sites, some pull-throughs and space for group tent camping. No hook-ups. Flush and pit toilets, potable water, big cottonwood trees. Boat ramp. Fishing. Golf. Just over 1 mile south of I-90 on Highway 78 40 miles west of Billings. Donations appreciated but not required. Roads are rough but drivable with large motorhome. The free wood is from Timberweld, the local wood company that delivers at no charge for campers: mill end pieces of 2×6 and 2×8 kiln-dried wood. The park is FREE and donation boxes are set up for those who wish to donate a couple of bucks to help make improvements.

Great place to camp. Posted 14 day limit but not enforced. Donation requested via permanently mounted post. Water and rest rooms available. Loosly designated campsites suitable for any size vehicle/RV.
strolled in late and there were plenty of open spaces for our tent. had a great night. campground was very quiet with just a little noise from the train tracks close by but we were so tired that we slept through any noises. in the morning i noticed the police doing a quick drive through patrol which is nice, i guess.
This is a great location right near the Yellowstone River. There is a golf course on the north side. It is very quiet. We have family gatherings here every year. It will accommodate any size RV.
Looks nice but CLOSED due to flooding when we arrived June 26/11. Water is still rising as we depart July 1/11.
