Directions:
The google map at the bottom of this page doesn’t draw the necessary roads. I suggest using a third party mapping program, the image below, or the pdf linked as a road map.
Coming from Blue Ridge, GA, head north on US 76, where US 76 and GA 5 diverge, continue for 3.7 miles. Turn left on Old State Road 2. Follow it for 10.6 miles to Watson Gap, located at the intersection with Forest Road 64 and Forest Road 22. Turn left on FR 64 and follow it 4 miles to the campground, on your left just after the bridge crossing South Fork Jacks River.

I would like some information please on your horse trails. My husband and I would like to come in the spring and camp for 2-3 days and ride your trails. What is the best time to come? I would like it not to be too cold, but not yet really hot. I do realize no one can totally predict the weather. How many miles of trails do you have for horses? Your web page states camping is $5.00 per night. Is there a charge for riding? When would we need to make reservations? Any information you can provide will be appreciated. Thank you so much and have a nice holiday season. Gail
