Be aware that the kids use this area from dusk to dawn a cruising area all year long. Lots of noise at night, cars, horns, fights, yelling, breaking glass.
Stayed here in late August 2010. Plenty of room to walk into the park area. Not a bad place to spend a night but a bit too much traffic on the weekend. The city employees were very helpful in directing me to a city dump site.
It is great that the city offers this type of facilities to RVers.
Stayed one night,7/17/2011 (a Sunday night). Our site had a grill and picnic table. Our TT is 39ft overall and we unhooked and parked our pickup behind it. Quiet and peaseful night. Larger rigs park 50ft from the water and smaller rigs can park right beside it. Bathrooms lit all night if you need them. 90′s in the day but 60′s at night. !!Highly recommend!! I will add, we had excellent AT&T cell phone coverage and excellent Verizon air-card service.
