We just checked this site out on 5/18/11 and it was great. Sights 1-19 have water and power. 9 of those have water access at your back. Other sights also have water access but no water or power. Bathrooms and showers were very clean. This is on the lake and a quiet park. This is first come first serve. You can stay for 14 days.
We plan on going there in October. Are they pet friendley and how strict are they on the 14 days? Oh, is it a pretty area?
I would say it’s quite pretty there. We visited after school had resumed, so it was very quiet, too. Campsites don’t seem too crowded together, and you’re never far from the lake.
Definitly a pet friendly environment. Not sure about the 14 day limit. We stay there often but never for more than 3 days
We drove up into the National Forest to have a look around at boondocking opportunities. I wrote about it here: http://thegoodluckduck.blogspo.....ve-to.html
