This is a free national forest campground in the Ottawa National Forest. There are 4 lovely wooded sites, a pitcher pump, and an outhouse. Not overly maintained, so expect high weeds or picking up some fallen branches as a form of payment for staying there! The forest service determined it’s so far out for regular maintainence, so they removed the pay post and allow campers to stay there free. Two sites back up to the river, one large enough for two camping trailers to fit on it. We go here with a 40 ft motorhome.

does 5 stars for noise mean it is VERY noisy? I’ve been in an unsupervised campground where people had radios and partying ALL night. Not the reason I camp!I like it quiet.
More stars is better. Five stars means that the original poster thought it was very quiet.
