A lovely, scenic, isolated site overlooking the San Rafael River. Access via Buckhorn Draw Rd then 2 miles of dirt track, which seems smooth enough for a big rig – but use your own good judgment. From the north, Buckhorn Draw Rd (CR332) is a smooth graveled road used routinely by large tour busses visiting an interesting pictograph site just north of the river. From I-70 exit 129, the road is generally good, but less frequently maintained, and an occasional dry wash must be navigated with care in larger RVs. There is a trailhead and horse corral here.

Hi – This is a nice spot indeed, but I think Google Earth shows the road going way too far up into the Little Grand Canyon. Thus, your “spot” is located well into a non-motorized area. Besides the fact that one could never drive any street vehicle up that far.
Also, when I last visited the BLM had marked all ok boondock site as “Designated Camping”. The area is well patyrolled so be advised to only camp in those specifically designated sites.
There is a nice developed BLM camp by the bridge and north of the river is a large boondock area, which can host a large number of OHVs, etc.
