I’m here right now! Had to get away from the foot of the mountain where the road swings south to get a good Verizon signal.
Quiet, a fresh breeze, and an amazing sunset…
Easy parking, even for the biggest rigs. Room for many rigs. Fairly level. Some garbage and broken glass left behind, so plenty of opportunity to ‘take more than you brought.’ Moderate to heavy day-use activity – ATVs, motorcycles, general camping road traffic (no through traffic).
First few miles of road are rough, but very passable. You’ll just want to take it slow. This is Colorado Indian Nation land; don’t park here without purchasing a permit. Continue on to cattle guard, which is where BLM land begins.
No apparent camphosts. You will almost certainly be within sight and sound distance of several other groups.
Good 3G signal if you stay slightly back from hills.
About 7 miles from downtown Parker.
