2 Comments about “W Manville Rd BLM”

  1. Saguaro says:

This area is closed. It’s part of the Ironwood Forest National Monument, but there are numerous signs prohibiting vehicles from the former RV parking area.

  2. Marilyn Gris says:

True this area is closed, but you can camp for free at Pump Station Road not far from this site. From W Manville Rd, turn left (north) onto N Anway Rd, turn left onto W Avra Valley Rd, then right onto N Pump Station Rd. The whole trip will take only 10 to 15 minutes. Go about 5 to 10 minutes until you come to a gate on the right, and make sure to close the gate behind you. The rancher may try to tell you he doesn’t want you to stay or prevent you from staying, but this is BLM land and you can stay for up to 14 days. Just make sure to keep the gate closed. You cannot stay on the land on the left (east) of the road as it is state land and the signs indicate this.
