While it is not offically allowed, many come here to sun bathe in the buff. A 4x4 may be required. There isn't a charge for parking/camping on the beach here. It's just an "abandoned" stretch of beach. No facilities.

Nice ,raw but nice

I loved the freedom of this place to do what you want ,I would just like to warn people to be careful about parking especially over night. I foolishly woke up to waves at my door. Wreckers won’t come because they fear their heavy trucks will sink so just park as high as possible overnight when tide rises

Stayed here in a Truck Camper (RV). Dino Canale would stay here again.

Its a rough road in. You really need a 4x4 but if your careful you can get in using a car. Theres nothing here. You can fish and tent camp but your not gonna get a RV in without getting stuck and a tow truck will cost you a fortune. Saw lots of naked people. None worth looking at, myself included. Very Very dark at night. Bring a shovel or a port a pottie and something to hide behind as there are no trees or bushes. Be careful not to park to close to the water as you may just wake up in it.

Stayed here in a 12 foot-long Passenger Vehicle. Richard i Prince would stay here again.

I go there a few times every summer to walk the beach nude. Usually a bunch of naked folks are there minding there own business. I go a little was past them to not invade there space and have never had a problem with anybody or the Wild life police. But I’m aware or vehicles coming down the beach and cover my myself till I’m sure of what it is. Most vehicles don’t go down that far. If they do it’s usually because there coming to be nude as well .

Stayed here in a 9 foot-long PopUp Trailer (RV). Alan would stay here again.

I was parked just a little ways inside the Wildlife area sign but a local came by and said I would get a ticket there. The sign says you can camp "on" the beach, I was on a use path, but some grass was between me and the sand. He said I could get a ticket if there was any vegetation between me and the sand. So I moved outside the preserve a little ways to a large sandy spot, with an old firepit and he said that was OK. I didn't dare drive on the sand with my camper, was afraid I would get stuck.

Vic Hanson would not stay here again.

If used as a "nude beach" be aware that there is a hefty price when you get that indecency ticket. Game wardens patrol this beach for this reason.

Stayed here with a passenger vehicle and a tent. Natasha would stay here again.

Good little place to camp. I stayed one night behind/on dunes. Would not recommend camping directly on the beach as high tides will engulf your camp/vehicle. As the sign says No Clothes, No Kids. Not for the timid/self concise. Good cell service with Verizon.

LoneStarTraveler would stay here again.

Definitely need a vehicle that is not low to the ground. It sits on the beach and is a decent FREE campsite. Even seen some boondockers in a cow painted van. That was cool. There is painted rocks saying no kids and nude beach as you enter.

Stayed here in a Truck Camper (RV). Shelyn80 would stay here again.

Is anyone going to the nude beach these days. I have not been there in a long time. Worried about getting stuck as the beach and roads seem to have washed away?

This is an interesting beach. For the most part it's abandoned but not forgotten. It's not maintained do beach conditions change with each new storm. Sometimes you can get in with any cars. Other times even risky with a 4x4. The beach can be trashy in places and seaweed from high tide can be thick. If you are a perv, don't get too excited. Most of the people on this beach are older, larger and at times creepier. It's not a real nude beach, and if the sheriff or law enforcement catches total nude, they can fine. Girls are welcome to go topless with no issues. The nudist tend to crowd into areas and watch for the law with binoculars. Gays tend to mass further down the beach, but quite ironically is family oriented if you don't mind semi nude women or an occasional nude people moving about. There is a nice sandy road behind the beach burmes (sand piles ). Get caught using this road and you could be fined or charged with trespassing. That road belongs to the oil company. Take shovels and ropes if you do
drive onto the beach. Many will help you if you get stuck and are polite. Camp between the burme openings, and place your tent or campsite behind your car. Many drunks are known the be out there after dark, and occasionally one gets in their vehicle. Most people are exceptionally friendly and not weird, but you will get the one creepy perv who comes with cameras and creepy stares. Just stare back and he will leave. Have a good time there.

Lol! Good description of me and my hubby! Seriously, exciting place.... in so many ways! Fun! I'm not even a nudist! Husband is/was/and loves to be! I just respect, don't stare and collect shells - great shells! Apparently went at extremely good time though! Please watch the tides! Would recommend for the adventurist - for SURE! Remember FUN! EXCITING and BREEZY! :-)
