This is a really great free spot. As stated, six sites spread out around the loop. We stayed there first on a Friday in October, pulled in after dark and there were two others. The road in is just to the right of the vault toilet. There were a few deep puddles that won't be a problem for most trucks, but be careful with small cars. Take a right, first space is abandoned trailer, second space is small, but fit our full sized van, third space would be good for a trailer. Fourth is by a trail head and a little more open. We didn't look at the fourth to sixth much. We stayed there another night on Wednesday and were by ourselves for a cold, rainy night. Except for the trash in all the fire pits, it was really nice, and the sites are spaced out. It's worth noting, there's a house at the corner coming in where the dirt road meets pavement that sells firewood. They have an honor system bucket up against a shed about 50 ft off the paved road. Bring all your water and TP and plan to carry your trash out. We cleaned up our site from previous occupants and the site next to us.

What a lovely campground! A true hidden gem. As others mentioned, follow the small dirt road from the parking lot. Went on a weekend during October and there was only one other camper. Private, serene, and lovely.

Stayed here in a Truck Camper (RV). Leah would stay here again.

This was a beautiful spot. Nice campsites with fire rings. Hiking to falls was right there. We drive up to the lakeshore too. I will say, there was tons of trash here and our neighbors were definitely living here.. so just be aware of your surroundings!

Road in is great, little dusty since it's been so dry. Great camping spots that have some privacy from each other. Sites have a picnic table and fire ring. Stayed at spot 2. Seem to be 5 or 6 total spots. Unfortunately, some one staying at one of the spots ran a generator all day, ugh!
Definitely make the hike to the falls, worth the effort.

Stayed here in a 8 foot-long Trailer (RV). Brian would stay here again.

We love nature so that waterfalls at this location were awesome!!! You can hear them from your campsite and they are just a short distance away. Be sure and drive past the parking lot and pavilion and find the 6 campsites. Pit toilet a bit old and not the nicest...but we'd stay here again just for the waterfalls and campsite area. Very quite and peaceful.

Stayed here in a 12 foot-long Trailer (RV). Annette would stay here again.

Got here around 2:30pm, a few cars and ATVs at the trail head for the falls (also the location of the pit toilet), I saw a total of 2 other vehicles in the camp ground loop, one truck that did a slow drive through around 4pm and a couple in a minivan that spend part of the night there. Sites were spread out enough that I couldn't see the mini van two sites over through the trees.

Toilet didn't appear to be regularly cleaned but still usable, BYO TP to be safe (dispenser was there, but empty).

Camping loop might be rough on low clearance vehicles, some big mud holes took up about half the road.

Stayed here with a motorcycle and a tent. anglachel would stay here again.

Big parking lot, with campsites stretching down a little road beside. Vault toilet. Saw only one other person, but it was late and rainy so for all I know this place is Times Square elsewhile. The river falls make a little noise at night (which most will find soothing), and are an easy morning walk to get the blood pumping before you hit the road again.

Trails down to the upper and lower falls have lots of stairs, but the views are definitely worth it! Got great phone and internet service with Verizon. No water or garbage cans. Bring your own TP. The road in is a very good gravel road even after lots of rain. The loop for the campsites had several large waterholes and with my Honda Fit pulling my teadrop I decided I didn't want to go through them plus I got here too early to call it a day. The falls are beautiful and worth all the stairs. There was garbage in the day use parking area and no TP in the outhouse but a whole bag of garbage in there.

Great camping spot. Quiet, many hiking trails. Beautiful river and waterfalls. There's 1 pit toilet that wasn't maintained, toilet paper strewn around. It is a 5 to 10 minute walk from camp site depending on which one you chose. Many mosquitos! I used a non-deet repellent which worked for a few hours. Mosquito netting is essential if sleeping in car/van and you want a breeze, but not the constant buzzing in your ears. Stayed here for 3 days, Thursday - Saturday. One other camper during that time. Several groups came just for the waterfalls.

Stayed here in a Passenger Vehicle. VanDregs would stay here again.

Stayed here Memorial Day weekend this year. Absolutely NO other campers. There was some traffic, but they were just going to the falls. It was really nice and quiet. Could let our dogs off the leash the entire time, didn’t have to worry about other dogs, or ticks. Didn’t find a single tick on our dogs. Hiked down the the lower falls, hiked up the river a little bit around a bend, and swam in the little whirl pool. Keep your legs out and get ready for rocks if you swim it. It was a good fun little campsite. Just make sure you bring your own water for the dogs, as it or a hike down the stairs to the falls. Definitely going to come here again.
