The road in is Dirt and half mile miles from a paved road. Rattlesnake Island is open 365. There are 1-5 campsites at this location and the maximum RV length is 25 feet. You may stay not sure, maybe 2 or 3 nights before somebody says something. at Rattlesnake Island.

Nice to visit during the day, fishing, swimming, paddle board allowed.closed dusk to dawn with elec gate. No staying overnight per Sheriff. Nice hard packed sand & room to turn around. Great views of intercoastal. Rough road in just take it slow.

beautiful but no camping

beautiful spot but they don't allow camping. there's big sign as you start down the dirt road.

maphillips013 would not stay here again.

There are 5 campsites tucked in trees right on the water with fire rings. Just follow the side road around the neighborhood to the park. It's a popular spot for kayaking, SUP boarding and fishing!!!

Since the Covid virus they have gated the entrance. Id imagine whoever locks it at sunset now checks to be sure they aren't locking anyone in... Unfortunately we just lost an AMAZING "locals" place to camp.

can not camp there any more, we tried on 4/21/17 and was awaken at midnight by the sheriff tells us to leave, this is a beautiful spot, but day use only
