It has restrooms and ample parking. Water is available at community tap next to restroom.
Simple free (donation) stop-over
Roadside lot by the local airstrip with grass, concrete picnic tables, some tables covered, and clean restrooms. Room for a dozen or more tents or campers. No hookups. Maintained by the local Kiwanis Club with a place for donations. Perfect stop for an overnight. Longer stays allowed up to 10 days I think it said.

Well kept area. Was pretty full when I arrived on a Sunday evening (Labor Day Weekend). Was able to find a patch of grass that I could pitch my tent for the night.
Stayed here with a passenger vehicle and a tent.

Not four stars but decent
Not sure I would give this place 4 stars as some did. Decent place for stop over. Only great thing is the water as Lewistown has spring water at the taps. Convenient to good supermarket across the street. Plenty of room at sites and easy to get around in our 35’ class a with a toad. A lot of folks not heeding to the self contained restriction as there were quite a few tents there. There are prairie dogs lol

Great place to stay!
Great place to stay! Clean restrooms, 10 day limit! A wonderful gift from the Kiwanis! A note about the fresh water: there are two spigots for filling! Close to town.

Nice park to stay in
Pretty nice place to stay for free.
The stay limit is 10 days (there are at least 2 signs stating such). They do have a group of volunteers that walk the park writing down license plates, which I'm assuming are the stay limit check team.
The park is well maintained. No one is staying longer than 10 days, that I could tell. They could leave for a night then come back, there isn't anything in the rules against that.
The park is right next to the airport, so there is some airplane and helicopter noise during the day. Nothing that I could tell for the night.
Please donate some funds in the donation box. This is solely run on donations, so giving something will help them keep it maintained for future use.
The AT&T Signal was usable, but it was slow for data. I think the tower I connected to was either older or just slower. If I went into Lewistown and connected to another tower, the data signal was 80MBs download. We loved driving around Lewistown. The old town look and feel and not junky is awesome to see.

I agree totally! This is a very nice campsite. When we got here on a Saturday, it was late and quiet except for the wonderful thunderstorm that provided a windy, rainy light show. Stayed in a 23 ft class C and would stay here again

Great place to stay on the way to Glacier. Well kept, nice restrooms, relatively quiet, even when a plane was landing or taking off from nearby airport. Totally level spot, which we usually can’t get in paid campgrounds!

Good area right off road. A little tight for big rigs but doable. Mostly for tent or day use eating. Overnight with rv is very limited. There are only a couple where you can park off main road.

I have not camped here, yet, but I have spent a couple of hours here and used the picnic tables for lunch with my grandkids. We thought it was very nice and well kept! We had a great time!

Great little park for overnight RV parking
Very nice area to park overnite. We needed a place to park on our way to Glacier NP. It's on HWY 87/200, clear on the west edge of town, across from a farm implement dealer. You are supposed to pull in the grassy areas to camp, but since it had rained recently, the ground was fairly wet, and we were afraid we would get stuck in the grass. So, we didn't follow protocol, we pulled in one of the gravel drives and parked there. There were other campers there, probably about 15 various pull behinds, Class A, B and C motorhomes. If it had been busier, we would not have stayed in the gravel drive. No electric, I did see a hydrant, but we didn't use it. Nice restrooms available. Garbage bins available. Park is kept up nicely. I didn't see evidence of homeless people while were there. I didn't leave a donation in the box available, as it is unlocked. I found the address for the Kiwanis and mailed it later.

Unsafe homeless person Campground
This Campground is being taken over by the homeless and on top of that we were threatened by a person to the point of we had to leave the next day. Do not stay at this unsafe Campground!

Tent site
Nice campsite. Ample places for RV's and tents. We stayed in a tent. Water and restrooms available but no hot water.
Very nice park over all. Thank you Kiwanis!

Very nice, clean park. Potable water is available up near the bathrooms. Everything is very well maintained and tidy. Site are nicely spaced apart from each other, but there are no trees to speak of so you can see everyone. Nice covered picnic table in most sites and very close proximity to town and several restaurants. All sites are "pull through" in that you just drive on the grass. Thank you, Kiwanis of Lewistown!

Very nice quiet area that we stumbled across looking for a place to perch for the night. Half a dozen other older couples wandered in as the evening turned to night. All was quiet. So nice that we went to town and spent significant money rather than look for a WalMart. The Kiwanians do a great service for the town by keeping this open.

I really liked this little park. Its simple but clean and decent. Some people looked like they'd been there a while but it was low key and uncrowded.. I loved looking out at the horizon in the evening. People mind thier own buniness here but are friendly enough at the same time. We left a donation for the Kiwanas'. Thank you kiwanas Club of Lewiston!

Stayed 4 days Aug 2023. Plenty of sites w/ tables. They ask for donation but they should charge at least 10 bucks per night. Clean, level sites just off hwy 87. Clean restrooms for travelers. Next to airport with a few Mt Air Guard aircraft taking off and landing. No electric or sewer but still very nice. I'd give a 5 star if they only had a dump
